I'm embarassed to post this recipe, it is so easy.




Pillsbury frozen biscuit dough (preformed biscuits)

1 can of your favorite pie filling or preserves

Powdered Sugar




Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Thaw as many biscuits as you want for the Kolaches.

When thawed, dust your fingers with a bit of flour and form a shallow cup with each biscuit.

Add a spoonful of your favorite pie filling or preserves. (One can will make 10 – 15 Kolaches. )

Bake until the biscuit is golden, about 20 to 30 minutes.


Make a powdered sugar glaze with a cup of powdered sugar and enough milk

and vanilla to make it a pouring consistency.

As soon as you take the biscuits from the oven, drizzle on the glaze and enjoy!


Hint – keep the frozen biscuits on hand and just make what you want for that morning.

They are so good when fresh, but not as good when reheated.

You can also thaw the biscuits overnight in the refrigerator.
